Despite the technical difficulties on the main stage and having to cut songs from the setlist, Yungblud’s performance stood out as pure, raw, and original, mixing genres from ballads to punk and even rap.

Festival-goers and music lovers turned out in force at the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (FIB), one of the most well-known festivals in Spain. The event offered an international lineup from Thursday the 18th to Saturday the 20th, including big artists like The Black Eyed Peas, The Libertines, The Vaccines, Royal Blood, Jess Glynne, and many more.

But Yungblud, the main headliner on Friday night, stood out as one of the most energetic and engaging headliners of the three-day festival.

On Friday, the temperatures reached highs of 32ºC (90F), and in the early hours of Saturday morning, Yungblud exploded onto the stage with a set of raw music. Props of oil drums filled with fire increased the temperature, and the crowd responded with all its energy. Annual attendees of the festival said he was the best artist to have performed at FIB in the last five years.

For those who don't know him, he is a British singer who has sold out various world tours, sharing his love and passion in every city. He always takes care of his fans, whom he refers to as his community, to ensure they feel loved and not alone.

On the 11th of August, at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes, he is launching his own one-day festival, Bludfest, He is making sure it is affordable for everyone by offering free tickets to people with low incomes, ensuring that everyone has the chance to experience and enjoy live music. This idea comes in response to the inflated prices of festivals in general. The lineup includes well-known artists like The Damned, Lil Yachty, Nessa Barrett, and many more, including himself!

He hopes that this festival will blur the lines of genre and destroy the limitations of imagination. Wow!

I’m very excited to be attending Bludfest in the next few weeks. It won't just be a gig in a field; it will be a place where being different is celebrated. This is what his music and shows are always about: the freedom to be and express yourself without judgment.
