Razzmatazz, one of the city's most iconic venues, set the stage where Argentine music took the spotlight thanks to Turf's electrifying concert, preceded by an equally striking performance from the local band Gafe. It was an evening filled with energy, emotions, and a powerful connection between the artists and the audience, turning this event into something far more than just a concert.

The evening kicked off with Gafe, an emerging band steadily gaining ground on the local scene. Their style, blending alternative rock with introspective and immersive lyrics, captivated the audience from the very first chord. With tracks like "Nada" and "Derretido", the band showcased their talent for fusing alternative sounds with lyrics that delve into emotions and inner tensions, creating a unique atmosphere that shifted between the melodic and the raw. The audience responded with enthusiasm, proving that Gafe is not just a promise but a rising reality.

With the stage already ignited by the previous band, anticipation reached its peak as Turf took the spotlight. The band, with over two decades shaping the rhythm of Argentine rock-pop, unleashed their full musical and theatrical arsenal to transform the night into a true celebration. From the first chords of Kurt Cobain, it was clear the audience was ready to give it their all.

Frontman Joaquín Levinton commanded the stage with overwhelming charisma, breaking down the barriers between the band and the audience. In a display of pure energy, he dove toward the fans, splashed water into the crowd, climbed onto the bar, and even braved the heights by perching on the railing separating the stage from the audience. His constant interaction created magical moments, proving why Turf remains such a beloved band.

The night’s setlist was packed with hits that spanned the band’s history, from classics like "Magia blanca" and “Loco un poco” to more recent tracks. The band also surprised many by recalling their recent collaboration with Argentine rapper Milo J on a new version of "Pasos al costado." This meeting of generations not only revitalized the classic but also drew a younger audience to their sound.

One of the most memorable moments came at the end, with the performance of Yo no me quiero casar, ¿y usted?" This Turf classic electrified the entire venue, becoming an anthem of independence and rebellion. The song, with its irreverent and catchy tone, had the crowd singing at the top of their lungs, reveling in the irony and boldness that define the band. The atmosphere was charged with energy, and the collective chorus that formed at Razzmatazz proved that, despite the passing years, this track remains an immortal favorite among Turf’s fans.

When the lights came on, the chants of “otra, otra” still echoed. Although the show had come to an end, the energy that Turf left on stage lingered in the air. It was a night where the music was not only heard but intensely experienced.

Turf's concert at Razzmatazz was more than just a gig: it was a celebration of Argentine identity and culture, a reunion for those who carry their homeland in their hearts, and a reminder of rock's power to connect generations and geographies.

As a final note, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to APA! APA! Ana Poluyan Agencia and Germán Peke Fernández for their unwavering support, without which I wouldn’t have been able to experience and share this special night at Razzmatazz. I am deeply grateful for their collaboration and for making this experience a reality.
